Two New Competitive Eaters
A few months ago I went up to Toronto for the poutine eating contest. It was a fun time and an especially gross contest. I used the trip as an excuse to photograph two esteemed competitive eaters for my ongoing portrait project. I present to you, Tim “Gravy” Brown and Pat “Deep Dish” Bertoletti. Some of the grossest guys I know.
Gravy wanted his scenario to be the most disgusting ever and I think we succeeded. This was literally some toxic junkyard that we photographed him in. I’m sure we all caught some disease from this. But big ups to Tim for stripping down to his underwear and climbing in this pool of gravy.
Pat wanted to reference the Cool Hand Luke egg scene, but of course it had to be a little more disgusting than that. I love how he looks like some grand badass here with his mohawk and piles of hard-boiled eggs
