The Book!
It’s been over seven months since I returned from India. It took me ages to wade through the thousands of photos that I shot there. I also shot a lot of film too. It was such a great feeling to go pick up chromes from the lab again and experience my trip all over again on the light table. I missed that. In all of the images, the colors, and energy stood out to me and there were too many to choose from. I asked my super-talented friend Marie Arago to help me edit them. She’s worked all over the place, but her Cuba work is stellar and you should check it out.
I decided to make a small book with my favorite ones and publish it on Blurb. Their annual Photography Book Now contest was just a good push in the right direction. I haven’t done anything like this since art school, but I’m planning to start packaging my work this way. For my first one I went with the simple, softcover style.
